Friends of the Rafto Foundation is a non-profit group dedicated to building support for the Rafto Foundation.

Our mission is to:

- Information and news about the work of the Rafto Foundation.
- Invitation to formal and social events organised by the foundation or by the Friends of the Rafto       Foundation.
- Invitation to the Rafto prize ceremony and the Rafto Symposium.

Support us
Joining the Friends of the Rafto Foundation is a simple way to support the work of the Rafto Foundation. In this way you contribute to strengthening the work for human dignity and human rights.

Today Friends of the Rafto Foundation counts 300 members. We hope to increase this number.

The Board
Friends of the Rafto Foundation was established in 2001 at the initiative of Anders Kvam. He was also the first chairman of the Board. Friends of the Rafto Foundation has a five-member board and three deputy board members. The Board is elected by an annual meeting of its members.
